Publications are ZIP packages of all the rules present in the live rules (It doesn’t include the rules in draft or currently being edited). Rules are currently grouped by file into the archive.

The publication packages can be consumed by a client using the provided API, allowing any scanner using Yara engine to load distant rules with versioning system.

When you first trigger a publication, the produced package is marked as “Test”, and is hidden from the clients (unless they use a Beta parameter). This gives you plenty of time to test the package (by your own means) before it’s pushed to production.
